When we launched the World Bodypainting Festival in 1998 we didn’t expect that this will last for years nor for decades. We found our way even in the pandemic times and after celebrated the 25th anniversary. After that celebration we found a new layout and got an amazing positive feedback from our community.
And here we are to contiune the new path of the "World Bodypainting Festival" with the 27th edition.
The #wbfestival2024 will focus again on the art of body painting, face fx and expand our focus to the visual art forms.
Program
The Program
The Festival week is starting from 17 of September, while the main program with all the competitions are on September 20 & 21, in the Klagenfurt Expo "Messe Arena". The bodypainting and make-up artists are working in various zones and they are beeing presented later on a big stage. All will be live and simultanously streamed on all our channels.

Beside the visitors day tickets we are offering special tickets for photographers, videographers and exhibitors.
Furthermore you'll find access passes for workshops and various side events taking place before the main days.
